Ori, kinsman of Dori and Nori, was one of Thorin's thirteen companions on the quest of Erebor. He went with Balin to Moria in T.A. 2989 and wrote the final page of the Book of Mazarbul before dying with the last of the colony beside Balin's tomb.

LongbeardsThorin III Stonehelm, son of Dáin Ironfoot, became King under the Mountain when his father fell in the Battle of Dale in T.A. 3019. He held Erebor under siege, broke it with Bard II when the news of Sauron's fall came, and ruled the Dwarves of the North into the Fourth Age.
